Food was fantastic! I got a large jerk pork, which was enough for my lunch and dinner. Flavors were super and the staff was really nice. I saw that jerk pork was not on their every day menu. I wish it was.

I've been hearing about this Caribbean food place for a while now,I'm glad I came by,it really is awesome,it's kind of a Caribbean Lechonera place,
Where they have 2 steam tables and I guess around 12 items, which all looked yummy, and they have a really friendly staff,I got the snapper fish with onions and rice, which was great, also had the Ackee salt fish, another great dish, and I also had the goat soap, which was pretty good, glad they have a location by Waterford,I will definitely be back and try out the rest of the menu,as so many things looked awesome, first time experience was great!! -

I headed here on a Saturday night for their jerk pork and a spicy beef patty. First, let me start by saying the large portion offers a lot of food for the money. The jerk pork was good, as were the rice and peas. The cabbage was bland. The beef patty was good, as well. Service was friendly, but a bit slow and the line was getting long behind me. It probably didn't help that the group before me dragged everything out just by being completely distracted with their personal conversations. The staff didn't lose their smiles, though I know my smile was being tested.

Favorite place to get Caribbean food! Beef patties with coco bread is the best. Sometimes when you go at the end of the day they run out of either one. Their chicken curry is tasteful, not even spicy.

Sunday was my wife's and my first stop into Golden Krust. I know it says "Caribbean" but I always thought it was a Puerto Rican bakery. That is, until I started noticing the reviews on Yelp. So, with updated information in hand, we stopped in for breakfast, just after their 10 AM opening time.
I was so happy to learn it is Jamaican, with specials like Goat, Curry, Jerk Chicken, etc. However, since we were here for breakfast, we decided on the Salt Cod. My wife had hers with Acki; and, I ordered mine with Callilou. Each came with stewed bananas, yam, and two dumplings! It was a mountain of food... and, we each got just the small!
I also tried a slice of the Hard Dough bread; and, left with a whole loaf! That and the Rock Cake, which was excellent with coffee the next morning.
WOW! I am so happy to have seen the updated reviews; and, am happy to call Golden Krust a soon-to-be "regular" stop for me and my wife. We loved it!
